On 21st November, the National Training Plan (NTP) for primary, secondary and high school art instructors opened its first class at CAFA. As the co-sponsor organizer, IFC was in charge of the entire Visual Identity system of the training courses and activities this year.
On 28th November, IFC Director Huang Li was invited by NTP to conduct a lecture attended by art instructors from primary, secondary and high schools all over the country. After introducing IFC’s history, Director Huang discussed how to encourage students to be more engaged and creative while they are learning. Director Huang Li also illustrated IFC’s concept of “training potential creative art and design individuals at the international level for China”. Besides these, she illustrated how IFC improves students’ artistic accomplishments and their creative abilities in terms of interest, method and professionalism making use of a large quantity of teaching and learning cases. After the lecture, Chen Shuxia, the NTP director and the vice director of Art Education Department of CAFA applauded Director Huang’s lecture. Ms. Chen also spoke highly of IFC’s achievements over the last 9 years particularly lauding the fact that students were able to experience western-style teaching and learning without going overseas.
