Tony Brown has a long and distinguished academic career lecturing and teaching in numerous international institutions; most notably at the ecole des beaux arts Paris, France wh&
101;re he was the head of the sculpture department and director of their post diploma programme La Seine. As the director of the programme La Seine he was responsible for its administrative and pedagogical direction, his administrative academic experience includes being the provost for Parsons Paris, France. He is currently a full senior professor at the ecole des beaux arts Paris, France and academic director for the CAFAIFC program Beijing, China.As well as maintaining an academic career Tony Brown is a well established artist, exhibiting his work internationally, in numerous exhibitions such as Documenta, with his work being in the collection of many important international museums and private collections.
Most recently, he broadened his practice from working primarily as an contemporary artist producing media installation work to that of design and architecture. He presently works with ACF, 798 design Beijing as a designer as well as being art director for DO architecture art, 798 Beijing. Over the last few years he has worked on the design for five large museum projects and is currently working as art director for China’s leading digital video company on building Asia’s largest new media art center.
