On March 16, the representative of Birmingham City University, Leng Jian, and the director 
of the China Visual Arts center, professor Jiang Jiehong, came to CAFA IFC and interviewed 
the students who applied for the school. Prior to that, they had made a special visit and 
held an info session here, encouraging our students to think outside the box and actively 
conduct research. Some suggestions are also provided about the students’ work. The 
students were well prepared for this interview and they confidently presented their 
portfolios, the sketch book and the physical work, having an in-depth exchange of views 
with the interviewers regarding the majors and their future development path. 
Some of the outstanding students received the admissions from Birmingham City University 
on the spot.   

    
At this point, we are halfway through the interview process for UK institutions. We hope 
that the students will continue to work hard and gain new admissions in the following 
interviews.
