On October 16, Jiang Jiehong, Director of Center for Chinese Visual Art at Birmingham Institute of Art & Design (BIAD) and Laura Leng, Regional Representative of BIAD, visited IFC and delivered a speech.
Mr. Jiang Jiehong’s humorous opening remarks won the applause of the students. In general terms, he first introduced the history, academic concept, educational policy and curriculum of BIAD, and then illustrated the most famous majors at BIAD in detail. for 150 years, BIAD has been world famous for its Jewelry Design Department earning it the title of the “Jewelry Engine in the UK” and it has also been honored as The First European Jewelry College. Besides that, Animation is another popular major at BIAD. Afterwards, Ms Laura Leng introduced the articles and requirements to apply for BIAD.
As a long time partner school of IFC, BIAD has provided many talents and artists to the world. We are looking forward to the admission interview of BIAD in the next year!
