随着社会的发属,资源正在减少,环境污染变得越来越严重。与此同时,我们面临着全球变暖、森林砍代、海洋污染以及对地球生态的严重破坏,因此我们需要在全球范围内开发更多的可再生绿色能源解决方案。
我的作品叫做“户外遮阳棚”。它是一个自给自足的系统,利用太阳能电池板发电,在炎热的夏天,人们可以从下面的太阳中获得阴凉。在冬天,电樯可以加热,还可以给手机、iPad等电子设备充电。
结构的主要材料是木材,可以防止雷雨天的漏电和导电,也是比金属更生态的选择。我做了2个实体模型,比例是1:20,实际尺寸将为5米x4米x4米,很容易转变为一个公交车站,或者咖啡馆外面的座位,甚至是一个花园空间里与人聊天的户外露台。在公共空间中建造这种结构可以减少燃烧化石燃料产生的二氧化碳和其他污染物质的电力的使用。该形状的灵感来自卡塔尔世界杯广场上的遮阳篷,其两侧像树枝一样伸展,以保持平衡并优化材料。第一个模型是我手工制作的,第二个模型是用激光切割机制作的。我也尝试使用了附着在模型上的太阳能电池,测试它们在一定程度上生成功能原型的能力。
With the development of society, resources are decreasing and environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious. At the same time, we are faced with global warming, deforestation, Marine pollution and serious damage to the earth's ecology, so we need to develop more renewable green energy solutions globally.
My work is called "Solar Outdoor CANOPY. It is a self-contained system that uses solar panels to generate electricity, and on hot summer days, people get shade from the sun below. In winter, the electric chair can be heated and it can be used to charge electrical devices as phones or iPad in public spaces.
The main material of the structure is wood, which can prevent electric leakage and electricity conduction in thunderstorm days, and it is a more ecological option than metallic versions. I did 2 physical models, the scale is 1:20, in real life the size will be 5 meters by 4 meters by 4 meters high, which made the design easily adapted to be a bus stop or to be used as a seat outside cafe or an outdoor terrace for chatting with people in a garden space. The creation of this structures in public spaces could reduce the use of electricity power coming from burning fossil fuels which produce carbon dioxide and other polluting materials. The shape was inspired by the sunshade in Qatar's World Cup Square, where the two sides are stretched out like tree branches to maintain balance and optimize material. I made the first model by hand, the second model is generated by using laser cutter. I tried to use solar cells attached to my model to test their capacity to generate a functional prototype to certain extent.
