I think love is a gift from the world. It transforms two complete strangers into two people who are bound by an invisible force. So I chose love as the main idea for this Reunited project. The diversity of forms of love reminds me of algae, which can grow in any difficult environment. So I chose this image in my work to represent the forms of love. Love relationships are the most important thing in my life. So I designed a game that allows people to create or recreate their own love stories. I first made a lot of small plant sculptures in clay, using different shapes and colors to show different states of love. I then created different magnetic cards on which the image of these small sculptures are printed... By making a composition with these cards, one can create a kind of mental and visual map of one's vision of love. The film "Ever Since We Love" was an important source of inspiration for this work. In addition, I made laser-cut puzzles of different face shapes... These puzzles combine several faces and are also a way of talking about love through the reunion, combination and separation of the different pieces. I have used different materials and painted them in different colors which, like my sculptures, try to show emotional changes and different states of love. I hope that my work can touch people who see it and that they can reflect on their personal conception of love.
