在古代，中国东北的人们由于战争，不得不迁往南方。他们建造土楼是为了让整个民族在新的地方重新团聚，土楼象征着团圆和团结。 传统土楼都是用泥土砌成的。土楼内部有很多公共空间，比如在一楼，人们可以有公共厨房，客厅都是很开放的空间，人们可以面对面交谈。这样的交流方式在现代社会是非常罕见的，因为随着电子设备的不断普及和发展，人们很少在现实中与他人交谈。所以通过这个项目，我想让人们在现实中重聚，而不仅仅是在数字世界里交流，因为有很多东西是数字工具无法表达的。 这个社区将有19个楼房。整个社区是一个圈，使项目更适合重聚的概念。每个家庭将有三层，一层是一个小厨房和客厅，二楼是卧室，第三层他们可以按照自己的意愿使用。社区里有公共空间，来自不同家庭的人们可以在这里见面交流，例如公共厨房、休息室和客厅。在这个居住的社区里，人们可以有自己的生活空间和隐私，也可以去公共区域与他人进行互动和交流。

In the ancient time, people at northeastern part of China have to move to south part of China because of war. Then they built Tulou in order to make the whole nation together so Tulou is a symbol of a nation re-unite in another place. The traditional Tulou are made by mud in that place. Inside there are lots of public space, such as people may have public kitchen and living room so people can contact and talk face to face with each other really easily. This is really rare in modern society, because with the development of digital tools, people are not willing to talk with other in reality. So through this project I would like to re-unite people in reality, not just communicate in digital world. In this community there will be 19 buildings. The whole community is a circle. Each family will have 3 floors. The first floor is a small kitchen and a living room, the second floor is used as bedroom, and the third floor they can modify it by themselves. In the community there are two buildings for public space, where people from different family can meet and communicate with each other. So in this co-living community people can choose to stay with their own also the community will provide more chance for them to communicate with others.
