The topic of my work is called "Reunited", which means "reunion" or "reunion" in translation. The direction I'm developing is the circulation of liquids. For example, the water circulation or the blood circulation in the human body can be called fluids, they are recombined and the process of liquid production is a kind of reunion, a recombination. Meanwhile, I got inspiration from the work of a Japanese artist, Kohei Nawa, from which I realized that liquids can be presented in various ways. The main materials are ferrofluid and hydrophobic materials, plus a variety of magnets as auxiliary materials. A ferrofluid is a nanoscale form of iron tetrachloride, which can be used to draw with a magnet and reacts to it producing very interesting spikes, which are in fact suspended iron ions. Due to technical limitations, I used MR fluid instead, which is mainly a mixture of laser printing toner, special oil and a small amount of magnetic powder. I also tested with magnetic components and oil alone but the effect is not so satisfying. I draw the pattern using the liquid with a magnet to make it form the letters I want. The whole work is presented in the form of a video, during which I demonstrate the fluidity of my experiments with those liquids, also this liquid itself is magnetic, so when moving, you can see the front of the liquid automatically attracted to the direction of the magnet, and finally show the pattern formed by the running track, which is ‘REUNITED’.
