农村文化和城市文化本应是一体与融合。 属于工人的朴实的文化产物和互联网也本该是进行补充,作品希望通过展示工人被忽略的悲惨另一面,让人们可以明白,纵使反对,不解,但我们无法剥夺农民工们(边缘人员)表达自我与庸俗的权利。这是杀马特文化(农民工文化)和主流文化的一次试图“重聚”。 “杀马特”作为一个小众而夸张的社群,活跃于2008至2012年的中国互联网空间中,之后便匆匆消失。借助李一凡导演的纪录片,我得以深入去了解这个边缘化的群体以及其背后所代表的中国90后农民工一代的个人历史。 我的作品从杀马特的生存状况以及互联网上其他阶层如何错误而偏激地看待杀马特的行为出发,以隐喻的方式描绘农民工们贫乏的生产生活状态,不同阶层之间的信息隔阂乃至独裁的现象,试图去让大众在面对工人以及他们所创造的文化产物时,能够以一个更宽广的视角去理解与欣赏。

As a small and unique community, "SMART" was active in China's Internet space from 2008 to 2012, then disappeared in a short time. With the help of Li Yifan's documentary, we can get an in-depth understanding of this marginalized group and the personal history of the post-90s rural factory worker generation that “SMART” represents. My work comes from “SMART”’s basic survival conditions and how other classes of people on the Internet view the behavior of the “SMART” group in a mistaken and extreme way. By depicting the rural factory workers, who are in a tenuous state of production and living, I aim to bridge the information gap between, and even address authoritarian attitude towards, different classes and groups online. My aim is to try to let the public understand the workers and the cultural product that they created from a broader perspective.
