“重启”这个词对我来说很难理解,因为它有某种不确定性和不稳定性,令我感到矛盾。

蚂蚁能够傻乎乎地在莫比乌斯环上一直爬行,因为没有较强的记忆能力和敏锐的感知,十分荒诞。我们像这些蚂蚁一样在一个循环中重新启动并没有什么意义。我们天真地相信自己可以从无到有,但复杂的情感和潜意识的变化足以打乱这种理想主义的观念。时间是无法挽回的,生命的单调重复继续着它无休止的循环。这就是为什么我在“重新开始”中感觉到一种强烈的抵触。

我根据我写的一首诗制作了视频,其中套用了安德烈·塔尔科夫斯基的电影《诺斯塔尔吉亚》中的片段,即演员对观众说“这是一个故事”。我也创作了几幅画来表现这首诗的一些重要片段,然后把这些画烧掉,这样一切就消失了。我也像电影里的演员一样去表演。所以,我既是角色本身又是作者。电影、绘画和诗歌的融合寻求幽默和严肃共存的自由方式。

你将发现,我的视频并没有真正的结尾。这首诗总是可以重新开始,循环往复。

The word "restart" is hard for me to understand. I feel a contradiction. There is some kind of uncertainty and instability in this word.

Ants crawl on a Mobius ring forever. They do not know that they are looping, the situation is absurd. We are certainly like these ants. Restarting in such a cycle doesn't really make sense. We naively believe that we can start from nothing. But complex emotions and sub-conscious changes are enough to disturb this idealistic idea. Time cannot be saved and the monotonous repetition of life continues its endless cycle. This is why I feel a deep contra-diction in "restart".

I made a video based on a poem I wrote. I also used a sequence from Andrei Tarkovski's movie Nostalghia where the actor addresses the viewer by saying "Here's a story". I thought this film segment would be a good way to start my video. I made several paintings that illustrate some important moments of the poem. I then burned these paintings so that nothing remains of them. I also staged myself like the actor in the movie. Therefore, I be-come both the character and the author... Mixing cinema, painting and poetry is a way of seeking a kind of freedom where humour and seriousness can coexist together.

As you'll see, my video doesn't really have an end. The poem can always start again and go back like a loop. The fall of things has no end.
