综合媒体工作室的课程面向对数字影像、二维及三维动画、互动媒体、动态图形以及科技领域有着浓厚兴趣的学生。新媒介的产生，往往折射着社会、文化、政治层面的时代缩影，作为艺术设计领域的实践者，学生们不应也不能忽视反思创作语言本身以及时代的隐喻。而这也是综合媒体工作室与国际预科项目秉持一致的教学理念，我们非常注重实验性、批判性反思以及表述能力的培养。

在这里同学们可以充分发挥他们的创造力，跨学科、多角度地探索和创作。老师采用讲座和个人辅导相结合的形式授课，带领学生理解创作过程中的不同阶段，掌握从调研、实验探索到制作以及不断精致化的全过程，帮助他们以独立创作或小组合作的方式，在不同语境下进行多种多样的新媒介艺术实践探索。

综合媒体工作室的同学们针对“RESTART”这一主题，在毕业作品中展开了独立的思考与解读。我们希望在全球疫情不断蔓延的背景下，为居家隔离的观众们带来视觉和想象力的释放。

Integrated Media studio is for students who are fascinated by digital video, 2D&3D animation, interactivity, motion graphics, and technology. The interdisciplinary curriculum enables students to explore multiple directions and to apply their creativity achieving their own projects. The emergence of new media often reflects the epitome of the times at the social, cultural and political levels. As practitioners in the field of art and design, students should not neglect to review the creation language and the metaphor of the times. Experiment, critical reflection and proper presentation are main parts of pedagogy in IM studio which is consistent with CAFAIFC program as well.

The lecturer of the studio is dedicated to help students developing their artistic practice in a variety of forms and contexts by unravelling different stages of creative process, such as transition from research & experiment to production & refinement. Lectures and individual tutorials will be provided during the studio time. Individual and collaborative forms of making media art will be supported in different contexts.

Students in Integrated Media studio have made their own interpretation and reflection regard to the theme “Restart” by presenting their final project in different approaches. In addition to this, we wish the show could visually free & relief our audiences from the quarantine during the pandemic period.
