“重新开始”可以解释为很多概念。一个时段内数个重启可视为一段规律的形成，人类社会发展到现在一直在试图总结各种规律，通过总结规律，人类推陈出新。

“重新”是“re”作为词缀的意义之一，每一个拥有 “re”前缀的词汇都可以视作重新开始，重启可以是回收、改革、重构、甚至是重新设计。

这次作品的灵感来源于英文纵横填字游戏和安德烈布勒东的超现实理论和拼贴诗。材料是基础塑料魔方和油画颜料。我在魔方的每一面上写上字母或词根词缀或单词，来随机构成新的单词或诗歌。

在人手参与的重组过程中，人类的潜意识和物品本身的组合潜力和随机性能够展现出来，这一过程也和占卜或拼贴诗相似，是基于人脑潜意识的精神创作活动。但魔方自身的结构和逻辑性给人提供了更多干涉和修改的可能性，在潜意识和冲动的基础上进行新的创造，从而达成超现实主义与重构的沟通。

RESTART could be considered as many other concepts. In a period, plural restarting is the formative process of regularity or law. Till today, human society has developed with experiments and concluding laws. Then they create progressive design with the laws discovered to push the development of human society.

Restart is one of the meanings of “re” when it appear in words as prefix. Every word with “re” could be seen as having a similar meaning with restart, such as recycle, revolution and reconstruction, even redesign.

The inspirations for the work comes from English crosswords games and the collages or surrealist poetry by André Breton. Then the material is basic plastic rubik’s cube and oil paint pigment. The production process is writing the letters or a prefix on every faces of each cube to randomly construct new words.

In the reconstruction process in which manpower participates, the sub-consciousness, potentiality of combination and randomness can be shown, and it’s also similar to collages or divination, which is based on the mental creation activity of the sub-consciousness mind. But the structure and logic make it accessible for humans to modify, to create on the basis of sub-consciousness and impulsion. Then we will achieve the communication between surrealism and reconstruction.
