在我看来，“重新开始”不仅仅是一个新的开始，更是一个成长的概念。我认为如今的当代首饰不再只是展示财富和地位，或是时尚的附属品，而是作为一个小宇宙来传达价值观和人文精神。

由于新型冠状病毒，许多材料不能用于我目前的工作。幸运的是，我在家里发现了一种常见的物质—糖，并选择它作为创作原料，因为它能够表达我的思想：质的飞跃在于量的积累。具体来说，一个人的⽣活状态每天都是一样的，但每一天都是一个新的起点和进步。正是所谓的不积跬步无以至千里，不积小流无以成江海。

在我的作品中，糖不是调味品，而是生活的象征。它有很多不确定的因素，它易碎，它脆弱，同时它是甜蜜的，是未知的。通过调研，我找到了⼀种⽤糖做晶体的方法，在糖和水的混合物中加入颜料，使糖产生的晶体有颜色。作品材料包括水晶，金属，木材，纺织线和糖。制作水晶是需要时间的，而疫情期间有很多时间被困在家里，所以随着时间的流逝，我展示了把糖变成一种珠宝的自然过程，它是甜美的，美丽的，岩石形状的珠宝。

糖每时每刻都在结晶，但每一天的开始都是不同的，是随机的，我从中发现了与我们生活的相似之处。我想用这份工作来鼓励你坚持⾃⼰的梦想，不要放弃，因为我们所有的努力都不会白费。

The theme of my final project was Restart. In my opinion, restart is not only a new start, but also a concept of growth. I think today's contemporary jewelry is no longer just to display wealth and status, or fashion accessories, but a small universe to convey values and humanistic spirit.

Due to the novel coronavirus, my tools and many materials cannot be used for my current work. Luckily, I found a common substance at home -- sugar, which expresses my thoughts -- the qualitative leap is the accumulation of quantity. To be specific, a person's life state is the same every day, but every day has a new starting point and progress. It is the so-called plodding step without a thousand miles, not a small stream into the sea. I choose sugar as the raw material. In my works, sugar is not a condiment, but a symbol of life. It has a lot of uncertain factors, it's fragile, it's sweet, and it's unknown. I did my research and found a way to make crystals out of sugar. I added pigment to the mixture to give color to the crystals produced by the sugar. My materials include crystal, metal, wood, textile thread and sugar. My jewellery is a bit fragile. It takes time to make crystal, and I have a lot of time to be stuck at home, so as time goes by, I show a natural process of turning sugar into a kind of jewelry, which is sweet, beautiful, and full of rock-shaped jewelry.

Sugar crystallizes all the time, but the beginning of each day is different, it's random, and there I find similarities with our lives. I want to use this job to encourage you to stick to your dreams and not give up, because all our efforts will not be in vain.
