这次毕业课题是“RESTART”，我围绕它做了关于邻里关系的研究，以城市和乡村为主要调查地点。

我的课题灵感来自一次平凡的家庭对话。有一天，在吃晚饭的时候，妈妈回忆起以前的邻居好朋友已经许久没有联系了，就和我讲起了一些从前邻居之间的趣事。相比从前，现代社会中，关紧的大门成为了邻居之间无法跨越的一堵墙。有一句古话；“远亲不如近邻”，这句话也在社会中渐渐消失了。

这次的作品，我采用电梯为我的传达地点，因为电梯作为最常遇到邻居的地点，是邻里关系的桥梁。但因为它速度快和封闭的特征，也无形中增加了邻居之间的距离。作品是明亮和黑暗的两个相对空间，居民在截然不同的状态下欣赏我的摄影作品。这是一个交互过程，我希望作品可以唤醒人们对良好邻里关系的渴望。

This "RESTART" project is about the study of neighborhood relations, with the rural and urban areas as the main research sites. My project was inspired by an ordinary conversation in my family. My mother recalls a time when we were always close to our neighbors, but in modern times our closed doors have added a layer of walls that can't be crossed. There is an old saying, "a near neighbor is better than a distant relative." But that is disappearing as the city advances.

This time I took photos to record different situations in cities and villages. In the city, from the perspective of elevator monitoring, I observed the over-winding and dedication of residents after facing their neighbors. In a sense, the elevator was the only bridge with neighbors, but the narrow environment made people unable to relax.

In the countryside, I felt a sense of human kindness. Neighbors often came to visit, and most of the doors were open. So I started my design to call attention to the neighborhood.

This art equipment, I use the elevator to convey my place, because the location of the elevator will meet neighbors. It is a bridge to communicate neighbor relationship, but because of its speed and the characteristics of the closed, it also virtually increases the distance between the neighbors. There are two relative space, bright or dark. Residents in the process of watching my work is an interactive process and I hope my photography will make people start to think about establish a good neighborhood relationship in the end.
