我们所有人都踏入的未来是什么？这个问题是我的毕业课题“RESTART”的起点。我的灵感来自最近我手腕受伤时的感想，我意识到人类对即使非常细微的变化也是那么敏感。“我的机器人”这部电影，让我产生了把机器人和人结合在一起的想法。

经过调研，我发现很多设计师都对这个主题很感兴趣，其中对我启发最大的是蒂埃里•穆格勒，他曾说：“我喜欢让人做梦，讲故事”。我的故事很多时候都会和旅行经历联系在一起。而旅行也给了大脑一个重启的机会。我根据上次旅行中观察到的自然界、花朵和风景选择了作品的色彩，并与机器人的冰冷金属感做了结合。我还受到了Thierry Mugler、Nicolas Gess Quiere的启发。他们在设计中使用了坚硬的材料，雕塑般的刚性使其在视觉上类似盔甲。我最终决定将作品按照人体比例，做成身体的一部分。为了表现机器人和人工世界，在材质上，我选择了硅胶和金属的结合。我利用人体肌肉的结构，发展出褶皱质地，产生了袖子的新形状。希望作品可以展示软硬材料的平衡和人机结合的共赢及美感。

What is the future we all stepping in? This is the question that was the starting point for my final project RESTART. The inspiration for my project comes from moment when recently I injured wrist, I realize how humans are sensitive to even very small changes. Through watching the movie name “I robot” I came up with the idea to combine of robots and human together.

Throughout the research I found that many designers was interesting to work with this theme, where the most inspirable for me was Thierry Mugler who said: “I like to make people dream and to tell a story”. The story is very often will connect to me with the traveling. And traveling gives the brain a chance to restart as well. Color I choose to work in this project is reflecting the inspiration of the natural world, flowers and sceneries I was observing from my last trip and combined with the cold metal surface as main material we see from the robots side.

I also was inspired of Thierry Mugler “Lady Cyborg” , Dolce&Gabbana same as Nicolas Ghesquiere for  Balenciaga’s designs which used hard material so sculptural rigid that its acts as armour visually and decided to develop into my final work as the part for the bodies by following the human body shape. In order to represent the robots and artificial world I combined silicon and metallic surface.

I use the structure of the human body muscles and developed to the texture of making folds what allowed me to come up with the new shape of the sleeve.   

In my final work I would like to show the balance of soft and hard materials and the way we can benefit from both sides and represent the beauty of human and machine combination.
