继中央美术学院国际预科2020年毕业展 “ReSTART/重启”和2021年毕业展 “ReUNITED/重聚”之后，我将今年的毕业展主题命名为“ReTURN/重返”。三年过去了，三个一脉相承的“Re-系列”毕业展见证的是我们在这三年中始终保有的乐观斗志与共克时艰的不易成果。
ReTURN包含对重返的期冀，重返常态，重返乐园，重返未来…我们想要返回的其实并非来时的某处，而是所有寄托着美好愿景的象征。ReTURN又不仅仅只是个愿景，它直面我们无以逃遁的不确定态并提醒我们采取新的应对策略。事物总在不断Turn，Turn，Turn again的曲折前行中，没有确定无疑的方向，每个人、每件事、每个系统都须随机应变。我们既有可能被迫变径改道，也有可能主动弯道超车，我们既别无选择但也都有所选择。每一个转折处都折射着选择者的伦理立场、智识修为与胸襟勇气。毕业课题ReTURN倡导的是开放、思辨、自省，我们希望同学们能够在这个主题创设出的自由空间中自主巡航、东突西撞，且碰撞出一些意外的亮眼的创意火花。
Turn，Turn，Turn again。困境、挑战、分歧总会接踵而至，卷土重来；但幸运、机遇、蓝海亦总会层出不穷，狭路相逢；而我们，定总会凭着智慧和信念一次次重振旗鼓，重拾初心，重返精神乐园！祝贺本届毕业的国际预科优秀学子们，也致敬国际预科的教学和管理团队！
Following the 2020 graduation exhibition "ReSTART" of CAFA International Foundation and the 2021 graduation exhibition "ReUNITED", I named the theme of this year's graduation exhibition "ReTURN". Three years have passed, and the three "Re-" series of graduation exhibitions in the same line have witnessed the optimism and fighting spirit we have always maintained in the past three years and the precious achievements in overcoming these difficulties together.
ReTURN contains the expectation of returning, returning to normal, returning to paradise, returning to the future... What we want to return is not the place where we came, but all the symbols that hold a beautiful vision. ReTURN is more than just a vision, it confronts our inescapable uncertainty and reminds us to adopt new strategies. Things are always moving forward in twists and turns, turning, turning, and turning again. There is no definite direction. Everyone, everything, and every system must adapt accordingly. We could either be forced to change lanes or take an active turn to overtake, we had no choice but a choice. Every turning point reflects the ethical stance, intellectual cultivation and courage of the chooser. The graduation project ReTURN advocates openness, thinking and introspection. We hope that students can cruise independently and collide with each other in the free space created by this theme, and then collide with some unexpected bright creative sparks.
Turn, Turn, Turn again. Difficulties, challenges, and differences will always come one after another and come back; but luck, opportunities, and blue oceans will always emerge in an endless stream, and we will always reinvigorated, regained the original intention, and returned to the spiritual paradise with wisdom and faith!
