通过“ReTurn”这个主题，我希望能回到古代，还原最真实的感情。《诗经》是中国最早的一部诗歌总集，记录了公元前11世纪至6世纪的民间诗歌，内容十分真实动人。尤其是关于爱情的描写，情感非常纯粹朴实。所以我以五首不同的关于爱情的诗句组成了一个故事去创作了五幅插画，讲述了一对夫妻从互相爱恋，到在桃花树下结婚，然后丈夫被征兵打仗，最后在凄凉的下雪天独自回到了已经疮痍满目的家乡的故事。这次作画，我大量参考了中国特有的传统绘画手法以及风格，还有中国国画使用的传统色彩以表达《诗经》中的意象美感。对于这次的创作我并没有完全按照诗歌中所描述的内容去创作插画，而是靠自己的想象去表达画面。让这些尘封在古籍中的文字变成鲜活的唯美画面，以宣扬中国独有的艺术美。

In this project "ReTurn", I want to go back to see what true love would be like in the ancient times. The Book of Songs is the earliest collection of poems in China, recording folk poems from the 11th century to the 6th century BC, telling real and moving stories, especially about the description of love, which was very pure and simple. Therefore, I composed a story with five different love poems and then created five illustrations, which told a story of a couple who loved each other, got married under the peach blossom tree, and then the husband conscripted for war, and finally returned to the devastated hometown alone in the bleak snowy day. I made a lot of reference to the unique traditional Chinese painting techniques and styles, as well as the traditional colors used in Chinese painting to express the beauty in the Book of Songs. For this creation, I did not create illustrations in accordance with the content described in the poem, but relied on my own subjective imagination to present the pictures. In this way, I promote the unique Chinese aesthetics by changing the words in the dusty ancient books into vivid beautiful illustrations.
