当我第一次听到“ReTurn”这个课题的时候，脑海中就浮现出“return to nature”这个词，因为人类文明的进步，我们往往会忽视自然的力量。 当我开始调查不同古代文明时，我发现分散在各地不同的文明他们都有着不少关于植物、树脂的记载，并与宗教仪式、巫术献祭、医学息息相关。人们对大自然作用的认知可以追溯到几千年前，然而当今我们对它们的认知度却越来越少了。随着科技的进步，人们已经习惯了各种“人工品”，我觉得大自然的力量在被逐渐淡忘这挺可惜的。我问了一圈身边的人，多数都表示对这些植物和它们的作用十分陌生。 这个作品的目的是提醒人们，并向大家介绍在大自然中有许多的植物都有它们独特的作用。我收集了很多香薰植物并把它们整理在一个柜子里，人们可以烧它们或者把它们挂在房间里。这些植物不仅散发着宜人的香气，也可以给我们带来精神上和身体上的好处。同时，我还从中挑选了两种植物，并根据对它们气味的感觉制作了两款卡片。

The theme of my project is to return to the nature. Because of the advancement of human civilization, we tend to ignore the power of nature. When I started the research about the ancient world, I found a vast variety of plants were widely used in religion and medicine. Over the course of time, the convenience that advanced technology brings to us leads to the neglect of the various functions of the plants. In my opinion, it’s such a pity that we no longer see their value as much. When I interview the people around me, only a few of them have heard about those plants and their functions. Thus, my purpose for this project is to introduce those plants and remind people that plants around us can be very beneficial to us mentally and physically. And so I made a collection kit that include variety of aromatic plants, that people can burn it or hang it on the wall, they not only bring a nice scent but also relax our nerves and kill the bacteria in the air. Both, I designed cards for two of the plants the colours represent my impression of them, and in the back side I add some more information about the plant. The recognition of such blessings from the nature goes back to thousands of years ago and yet we have so disconnected ourselves from it and often easily forget that nature remains as the giver though it is deteriorating gradually and being depleted bit by bit.
